Where can I find A Capella sheet music cheap?
Me and a couple guys were wanting to start a group kinda like a barbershop quartet, but do different styles of songs. I need sheet music (all male, preferably TTBB) for not too much money, although free is awesome-er!!!
The Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America (SPEBSQSA) should be able to help you. They EXIST to start and encourage groups such as this. Look up a chapter! They have contacted ME in the past, to ask if I had any male students who would like to join them!
Also, you can check out www.a-cappella.com There is a great CASA series of collections that have quite a few arrangements in each book. My own student-run groups did some of these, and they worked really well. The arrangements can be done by all one gender, or the usual SATB mix. – Some will sound *better* as TTBB. They also come with a CD with the tracks recorded (not such great singing . . .) to help everyone learn their parts.
