Trying to load Sibelius Scorch ver. 5.2.5 onto my I.mac OS X Leopard. But cant find the app. after installing.?
Hi. Please help.
I am trying to install the Sheet music display application Sibelius Scorch from the Sibelius website. After successfully downloading the Disk Image and following the on screen instructions it says that the installation was successful, but the application is nowhere to found.
I have tried repeating the process but with no luck.
This is the second time that i have tried to install a application on my i-mac and not been able to find it after. What am i doing wrong.??
Scorch is a Sibelius Plugin which enables a Browser to show Music created with Sibelius. It requires you to already have the actual Sibelius software installed on your computer. If you would like to verify that the plug-in is installed on your Mac, open Safari and click on Help. Select Installed Plug-ins and a list of all plug-ins you’ve installed will appear. Scroll through these to verify the Sibelus Scorch Plug-in is installed.
As it is just a plug-in you will not find this program listed in your application folder on your harddrive.
Don’t worry, you aren’t doing anything wrong.
