Is it legal to make your own version of songs that are copyrighted and not public domain?
I’m making a website and there’s a sheet music section. The sheet music are made purely as a learning technique that go along with my youtube tutorials. However, the music is copyrighted. Is this a problem?
I’ve also seen many other people make there own sheet music of copyrighted songs, and they’ve uploaded them to websites made for file sharing, yet they haven’t gotten in any trouble. If I do this, will it be safer?
It’s not legal, but the chances of you getting in trouble for it are pretty slim.
