Iphone and jailbreaking?
So i just jailbreaked my iphone in some electronics store. I didn’t know it at first that they were gonna jailbreak it because they said I could have all the apps I want for $30 only and I could come whenever I want. So I agreed. When I got it back, I see there is a cydia app. Its not like i dont know anything about jalbreaking, but I do have a few questions. So here it is:
- Is it really all apps free?
- As far as I know, I can only add apps from the store and it sucks because all messages, music, videos will be deleted. Is there a way so that I can downloade it myself?
- I heard there are many disadvantages of having a jailbreaked iphone. What are they?

One more question: can u update the apps?
Question 1: Not all apps are free, some you may have to pay for (most available on cydia are free).
Question 2: Not so sure, haven’t heard about this situation with iPhone. I download all my apps from App Store, Cydia, &Rock all at home? Haven’t even thought about going through a store.
Question 3: There really isn’t any disadvantages for actually jailbreaking your iPhone. Unless you take it to a Apple store, they will refuse to help you because you jailbroken. But, the phone can be un-jailbroken. There are mostly advantages, for example: being able to change backgrounds, downloading apps that aren’t available from the APP store, you can still download apps from the app store, cydia, or rock.
Aditional Question: Yes you can update all apps that you download from Rock, Cydia, and the App store. When they come out with a new bug fix or like update for them they will pop up on the icon that you downloaded them from.!
