What is the best software for writing Sheet Music?
I am currently looking for a program(vista compatible) that can write sheet music. It would have to include a feature where you can right the tabs right below the staff for guitar. Does anybody know of any good programs? Thanks for the help.
ps: I would prefer if the software was free
Finale 2009. (not free by a long shot) is the best choice. Very easy interface, intuitive and extremely powerful. It is used by most professional publishers. They have a variety of stripped down versions that might serve your purpose.
Or you could hire me and I’ll do your transcriptions for you.
