GUITAR SHEET MUSIC EXPLANATION
what would be better for guitar playing?

will reading tabs be better than music sheet???im a begginer and im reading tabs but later like in 2 years when i get better i whant to play fast electric guitar solo and i think i should prictice music reading so i can play them(becouse music reading has notes to tell me how fast i should play that note) sorry for my bad spelling or explanation

Listen, it takes no time or effort to read tabs. Which is great. It takes a great deal of time to read music for guitar. I suggest learning to read music RIGHT NOW.

First, reading music can help with rhythms.
Second, reading music is better for chords and the sort.
Third, by reading music, you will be able to know what notes to solo on.
Fourth, by reading music, you will be able to figure out different chords that compliment each other.
Fifth, by reading music you will more easily be able to communicate with other musicians.

You can do all those things without reading music, but it’s generally easier with this knowledge.

The reason why I suggest that you learn it NOW is because if later you decide to learn standard notation, you will have to go back to playing really simple basic stuff when you’re used to playing faster and more complicated stuff. It’s very frustrating, trust me. haha

Sorry for being long winded, but I feel very strongly that it is best to learn to read music. It’s just one more resource at your disposal.
