How hard would it be for this music to be played on a harp?
These first two I am wondering if they could be played without any changes. If there need be any minor changes, that’s fine. (Noting where and why would be helpful)

This last one would have to be transcribed for harp, but just wondering if it would come out okay.

The prelude (holy crap, this is a harpists nightmare) there will have to be changes!!! With a piece being this swift and the bass (left hand) not being in sync with the right…. head ache!! There are accidentals which also will need pedal charts. There will need to be alot of editing to get rid of the unnecessary notes throughout (this way the piece won’t sound as muddy when being played. If you don’t cut things out, the harpist will have to muffle like a crazy person, and there simply won’t be enough time for that.)
Ave Maria isn’t bad at all (I am actually singing this in college ![]()
However, with this piece, you will either have to cut one of the soprano lines or get another harpist to do the second soprano.
Jurassic Park- from what I can tell the it sounds like it could work for harp (have fun transcribing, lol!)
Remember, even though the piano is like the harp (sheet musically similar) do not treat them the same way. We don’t have the luxury of having black keys for accidentals. We have to use pedals (or levers) or play notes that work enharmonically.
I hope this helped somewhat, if you have any more questions or need help, feel free to email me.
Best of luck!
